Courses

All our courses incorporate the Kennel Club foundation course from the Good Citizen Dog Scheme. We are both qualified Pet Dog Training( PDTI) instructors.

We hold our sessions at Unit 12, Winnall Valley Road, Winchester SO23 OLD

Foundation level : Puppy training

Teaching your new puppy can start as soon as you bring them home. By attending puppy classes your new addition to the family will learn basic commands, and how to socialise with other dogs and people. Your puppy needs to be at least 10 weeks old and have up to date vaccinations for canine distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus and leptospirosis. We prefer loose/training leads over extending leads and are able to lend you one if you do not have one.

Courses run Sunday mornings 10.00 – 10.45 and 11.00 – 11.45 for a duration of 6 weeks. We have the facilities to go outside also, weather permitting, to add extra distractions to help them learn in a more realistic environment.

Level 1

These classes are for those who have attended the puppy classes and also those who already have a basic level of training. The age of the dogs can be anything over 18 months old; there is no upper age limit. These classes will include progression from what was learnt at puppy level by development of commands. More fun and games will help to reinforce the re-call. We prefer loose/training leads over extending leads and are able to lend you one if you do not have one.

We can go back to basics for new or older dogs if necessary.
